I am browsing through the "Schweizer Illustrierte". Lovely pictures of the couple, but NO pictures of the wedding itself nor of the wedding party. You see them in a limousine, you see them before the "Standesamt" (dont know the word in English [registry office]). 5 pictures of them, the rest are pictures of the locations where they were and of a jodel-"band" who was invited of Robert to surprise them.
And I have no scanner to show the pictures unfortunately...
I get the impression - when I read the article, that the SI reporters did not talk to the couple at all, but that they just quote Roger's tennis-interviews. So maybe the quote with "it will be a boy" is from such an interview as well. I may be wrong of course.
The evening before the wedding Mirka was with her friends in a famous hotel in Zьrich (Dolder) and Roger was amusing himself with a couple of friends on a "kartbahn" (again no translation of it, but you all know these little cars going in circles and grown up men are driving them and having a lot of fun.. ).
The SI said they were there, but no more. There were 35 people and the parents of both of them.
AND NO RING TO SEE ...Rogers left hand is not to see...
To sum up:
I think I said already most of the "News". There is the menu (what they ate and drunk), what they are wearing and then how they met each other...and so on. I think a lot of us are better informed than the SI - - about the circumstances before and after the wedding. Again: I have the impression, that the SI was not at the wedding at all (or only at the "Apero"). And the pictures were NOT taken by the SI, but of a "befreundeten" [close/good friend] photographer (again I cannot translate exaclty, but it means for me , the pictures were taken of a private photographer and given to the SI with the permission of Roger):
So - it was a COMPLETE PRIVATE WEDDING. Happy everybody??
